I will prolly tell him to get a pre built tower. he just asked me because I guess his cousin built a pretty good system a few years ago for around 500, but I don't want to build him some incompatible piece of shit lol. CPU and Vid card are the beasts of this setup and most the costs (remember i5 is actually an i7 without hyperthreading), they are what matter for the amount of money provided.
