blazer427X3
Bought some rims with TPMS and would like to have them activated on a C5 Z06. Any CR members here with a Tech II and able to do it ? If so, when and how much ? Thanks !
MattKatz
I'm Sure there's a manual procedure to learn them as I've not see a vehicle you can't with yet.

harmonda
I have the magnet used for this. Tire rack sent it with my wheel package. It's pretty strong, fyi. Your average refrigerator magnet won't work but I bet a speaker magnet will.

hpfiend
Fwiw I don't think this will work for you with a c5z. You need the techII in addition to the magnet in order to unlock the programming which is turned off in the Z06. If I am wrong please let me know as this has been on my list for a while to do... Also there are two types of sensors and only one will work in the z06 as they were all 01 and newer... I think the sensor date is 00 and newer and 00 and older
blazer427X3
You're right, I'll need to have it turned on with a Tech II. I wasn't able to get to the tire learning screen.
