How about Shaq in a smart car?

http://www.cubefx.com/smart/shaq.jpg

LOL, I should have clarified.

I can physically get inside a miata, close the door and everything. Head sticks out the top, arm over the side, and can't move my legs.

Sitting in something is so different from driving comfortably.

But awesome picture. There's a pic of Dirk Nowitski in a blue mini cooper S floating around too.

I can't turn my back for a moment with you people. :lolguy:

Corvette LOL

Volkswagen LOL

Audi LOOOOL

Mustang ROFL LOL (V6 + Track Pack is more expensive than an FR-S, btw)

And for good measure, FR-S/BRZ LOL, but they're great for getting triple-digit threads on CR.

So ultimately:

CR LOL :lolguy:

That would be incorrect and the magazine that quoted it was incorrect also...for the BASE...BASE cars...

MSRP

BRZ = $26,265

Mustang = $24,990

Invoice

BRZ = $25,097

Mustang = $23,776

Give or take a couple hundred... ;)

The FR-S needs to come down in price to compete with the Mustang in an American culture, anywhere else the pricing is fine. Majority of people in America would still buy a Mustang over the FR-S even if the FR-S was cheaper and beat the shit out of the Mustang in all areas (Dodge Challenger gets beat by lotsa cheaper cars and still sells at a premium), thus the hard headed American way. Being that the FR-S cannot beat the shit out of the Mustang, it is making it a harder sale here.

With that being said, I personally would never buy a Mustang or Camaro considering I can't even go to the grocery store without seeing upwards of 15 of them on the road, each with different stripes signifying the version and HP out of 15 or so different models.

Also I am not a muscle car guy, and whats funny is that the muscle car guys are praising these newer muscle cars that are actually trying to be less muscle and more and more track/exotics, further proving we had it wrong all along...

Why did we have it wrong? Because our car culture was built on straight smooth highways that we could glide down never encountering a corner or rough road, while other countries had all the twisties and cobblestone surfaces to navigate through.

blah blah blah

Yea, because comparing "invoice + discount" on one, to MSRP on the other IS a correct comparison. :lolguy:

I didn't, read it again....

Regardless, anyone can walk into a dealer and get a Mustang for $23,776 right now -$1,500 rebate = $22,276.

So yes, $22,276 for the Mustang vs $23,720 for the FR-S... ;)

Ford A-Plan FTW!

that being said, I still wouldnt buy a v6 mustang... :lol: and would choose the underpowered toyobaru over it. :lol:

If you can get A-plan, it's even cheaper than that...but completely agree for a DD.

Otherwise, I wouldn't buy/recommend anything less than the 5.0 version but in reality the BOSS/'13GT500 would be the only options for me... ;)
