Fubar231
http://www.lsxtv.com/news/videos-sick-twin-turbo-lsx-grand-national/ Being LSX enthusiasts and Buick Grand National fans at the same time, it’s can be tough to decide which is our favorite genre. There’s no denying that the LS-swap is finding its way into pretty much anything imaginable, but to the dismay of Buick purists the world over, a few have ended up in our favorite ’80s musclecar. Truthfully, we’re not sure why someone would yank the factory turbocharged Buick V6 for an LS engine. Stock to stock, the aluminum V8 obviously makes more power than the 6-shooter, but as everyone by now knows, the LC2 has amazing performance potential all its own. We have a few theories, however. The aftermarket the LS engines is immense, especailly when you compare it to what is available for the Buick-6, and at this point many Buick owners have toasted their original engines. In the end, it’s probably just easier and cheaper to modify an LS motor rather than buy and build an aftermarket-sourced Buick engine. Despite it only displacing 4.8L, we're confident that the turbos and other performance upgrades more than make up for the lack of cubes. Whatever – different strokes for different folks, and we’re not going to boycott the situation. We found these pair of videos on YouTube depicting the same Buick, and this isn’t the first one we’ve featured here on LSX TV. No matter where you stand on this debate, there’s no denying the sheer potential of the LS motor, or the fact that this GN is one badass Buick. Nickey4271647545519
Should have just left the 3.8 in there.
Nate1647545505
Interesting setup, any pics of the header layout? 4.8 has a bit more cubes to lean on if you don't like leaning on a trans brake. Be curious to see what's more costly in the long run, built LS, or Stage II LC with all of the goodies.
evil8
A bunch of the Buick boys down in the Cincy area are doing the same swap. My black car will always have a 3.8.

Are both turbo's on the passanger side because there wasn't enough space on the drivers side?
noobiemcnooberson.
Literally one of my biggest dream cars/ swaps. I think it would be much easier to pull big power without breaking the bank with a ls motor over the v6.
Patterson
Cool build, but he ruined a GN. What an idiot.

BStowers023
Well it sure looks pretty lol, but I know plenty of guys making enough power with the 3.

Are both turbo's on the passanger side because there wasn't enough space on the drivers side? I'm guessing it has alot to do with the steering shaft or rack & pinion clearances.
