thorne
It will be built at ips by myself and others. I really wanted something quick and honestly once you driven 800+ hp it's hard to be satisfied. Once it arrives I promise to document to build . It was ordered mid last year. IVRINGS
This was on the same truck as some of our cars. Just thought I would share. Tindall2006
Yes.... As reliable as any 20 year old turbo car that has been beaten to death it's whole life. Buy DSM and rebuild everything and it will be awesome, just like most cars. My turbo AWD talon never left me stranded.... They are unreliable from 17 year old kids trying to crank the boost. SHIEF
Some wheels with a nice lip on them and that's a pretty good looking car. Although yours should have more stickers.

The proportions just seem off and I've read a lot of nightmare stories from people that were building them.

Mallard
Maybe the $20,000+ price difference? The base price is higher on the SL-C, but ask anyone who has built a Factory Five GTM and they will tell you about all the extra parts, sanding, trimming, and fiberglass work they have had to do that drove the price up to equal or higher than the SL-C. The SL-C has none of those issues, a lot of guys don't even paint the body (just leave the gel coat), and it's been proven on the race track. Troll the SL-C forum and you'll find multiple people that abandoned FF due to build issues and have nothing but good things to say about the SL-C. All of them say the FF cost them more in the long run and the SL-C was better quality. I hope the 818 is a better experience than I've seen from those guys. Buteo
I believe that extra work was mostly associated with the newer first gen GTM models. Haven't heard anything about the 818 in particular yet. But fwiw, I have a FF 65 coupe and the builder said it was a smooth as anything he's ever put together. Only sold the car to finance a big block FF cobra build.
