Haha that BRZ at the end is hilarious, definitely predicted the Aventador winning though. Surprised the Jag got absolutely killed by the others though. Saw you in the BRZ leaving work today, Draco, that thing looks pristine!

Does anyone else ever wonder why they never have a ZR-1. If they do have a vette it's a Z06.

They answered that in the previous video.

It came in 4th or 5th in the last challenge and nothing has changed / been updated to make it fare any better so whats the point..

This was the reasoning for no vette in this particular test:

"...'why no Corvette ZR1?' Well, because three years ago, when the ZR1 competed in our 2009 Best Driver's Car, it finished in 6th place behind the 2010 Shelby GT500. As Ron Kiino put it then (with a hat tip to Tom McCahill), "The ZR1 is about as hairy as a gorilla bathing in Rogaine." Since it didn't win then and hasn't been substantially changed since, we didn't invite the Blue Devil back."

Copy&Paste from Motortrend.

If the 2012 Corvette was completely stock (other than safety equipment), with the same driver, then how did Chevrolet shave an impressive seven seconds off of the ZR1’s last lap time in 2008? Well again, according to Juechter, “We feel we have a pretty substantial performance upgrade.” Possibly the biggest improvement on the 2012 ‘Vette ZR1 is the addition of those Michelin Pilot Sport Cup tires. The DOT legal tires are quite possibly some of the stickiest rubber you can get for a production car and they’re new to the ZR1 this year. In addition to the new tires, Juechter says that the Corvette team has made other improvements to the ZR1, “We also have other chassis improvements [and] aero improvements, so we hope to show that we really improved the capability of the car.” With a seven-second lap improvement, consider us shown.
