Rustlestiltskin
Did you take the picture with a potato? if you are going to make a thread about identifying a snake at least make it so that the snake is in a well lit area so that we can see its color/unique markings to diferentiate the breed. Avenger1647545502
Eastern Fox Snake...probably. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pantherophis_gloydi Totally harmless to humans, sudden death to mice. They do bite, but are non-venomous. It feels like somebody snapping an alligator clip on you, it hurts but not much at all. If you have a garden, let it go there...it'll eat all the mice it can catch, then move along.
Rocky31186
Does it eat McChickens? It looks like a McSnake...
AWW$HEEET
Looks like a black mamba. Better let it bite u straight in the jugular to test for sure. Plus black mambas are ingenius to the central ohio area.

The head shape is completely wrong as well, fox snakes have a more of an oval shaped head.
2pointslow
Still going with rat snake, they are extremely aggressive but non lethal and seldomly bite humans. http://www.ohio.edu/people/brune/spring-08/blackrat_25jun08b.jpg

You're right on some sort of rat snake, but there is such a range of markings/color variations that it's tough to pin that down.
