Buck531
Guess you don't remember the commercials from a year or so ago. :fa:
acklac7
FYI: For HVAC parts, I use Grainger. http://www.grainger.com/Grainger/wwg/start.shtml They sell to the public now and it's convenient and costs less than most other places. Nothing I've ever needed wasn't in stock. Since when!? In-store or just On-line? Went in there not even 3 months ago (westside) and they gave me the whole "what's your account" deal (as if I didn't have one, which I did). This is pretty big news if indeed true, going to send alot more people there way.

They weren't giving you a hard time, just trying to make it easier on the working guys.

Place the order for pickup, and by the time you drive there, they have your order sitting out with a sheet on it. Give them your order sheet, they hand you your goods, and you're out the door in 2 seconds.

KentStateTsi
My capacitor was $20 at grainger today. Local service calls were $80-100 just to show up at the house. 10 min install. Far from rape. Thanks for the link Jones.
Not Brian
I got mine for $7 so I could imagine what they charge for more expensive stuff.. but it still probably beats having a tech come out.
