Avenger1647545502
Most dogs are at their proper weight when you can just barely feel their ribs through the fur...with short haired dogs, you can see them too. Not a hard rule, but a good rule-of-thumb.
Wease
It isn't into adulthood yet. The bones/joints are not yet strong enough to support any additional weight. If the dog weighed another 20-30lbs it could cause severe joint damage later in life. It may look skinny, but it is overall better for the dog. This is exactly why my Labs are in such great shape for 12 years old. They've never been fat and look skinny to most people, because most people are used to seeing fat Labs...
supldys
Here is Zeus, he was about 185 in this picture. If these dogs look fat or skinny, theres something wrong. We had him lose some weight to help out his hips, hes doing the best around 160lbs now. Not quite as big as that great dane, but he is huge and definitely climb up on the counter like that dog. http://www.imagedump.com/view.php?file=557866.jpg I think image dump uses some lame pass key now: 686f8cc73b36400d3 Offtopic: Whats a good image dump site?
