KennyFKINPowerz
I would just go get one from Meijer or Wal Mart. Most of the cameras there are in that price range and are fairly decent. I did that when I bought cameras for my kids simply because I knew they were gonna get beat up and didnt want to spend a lot on them. KennyFKINPowerz
I normally just stay with Nikkon or Cannon. Someone that knows more about pns can chime in on features. All the name brands are pretty similar in that price range.
Brrcats
olympus uses a XD memory card instead of the typical SD memory. not a huge deal, but something to consider if you dont want to buy new memory cards although, I've had a 7MP Olympus since 2006, and it still looks and works perfectly

John Bruh
canon power shot 300hs is what i use for work. Great little camera, I've dropped it a few times, still works great. 12mp
Tractor
The thin little Kodaks have been very impressive lately. My mom and sister use them though personally I'd get a Canon because I know the menu system well and shoot with Canon professionally. justinwebb
I'm pretty sure tim does some great things with a panasonic P&S
BloodRed
I would stick with Canon or Kodak. For a good P&S, Kodak seems to make a pretty good unit for the price.
