There's a guy on cf that weighed his car with about the same car as mine... I believe mine is about 20-30sh lbs lighter than his... cf hood, tinted hard top.. I want to get the car with me and 3 gallons of gas about 3200..I was thinking the car after build would be a tad over 34xx but here's the link.. I would of never guessed the c6 was so light. even though this guy weighed without fuel. 3065lbs .... full interior etc

colt I could of went the cheaper route... external fp, and would been able to afford a meth kit... but I figured the route I took would be best in the longer run of things.. when I finally decide to make my car fast... ie forged internals, rps triple disk clutch, drop 1-200lbs and of course bigger turbo's with custom turbo manifold.. but I like the corvette luxury's (heated seats, touch screen stereo and shit) so it's going to take a while before I go that far and some $$$$$

Routed the fuel feed line, installed injectors,fuel rial, map sensor, wire tuck in engine bay, installed the aeromotive fuel pump controller but broke a plastic fuel line that connects to the crossover tube. Now waiting for that part to get here to installed the gas tank. a snap shot of the engine bay thus far.. not done 100% because I ordered some black stainless line for the engine bay

so this dude with the upp kit just ran a 9sec pass with a stock ls2... vavle covers never even been off on this car! has z51 package ( closer ratio trans) and 4.10 gears but it's not helping him from what he's been saying. He made 700rwhp on 9.5psi... only thing I have on him is... heads,cam,intake,studs,better fuel system, and ported tb

here's a vid of it running (2nd start)... the screech is the slave going out... at idle it sounds like it's just another cam only c6.. :) I let it idle for about 10 mins and noticed an oil spot below the car, the oil feed line is leaking at where it connects.. easy fix. fuel pressure is at 30psi during idle so I need to adjust the fpr and then the aermotive fuel controller

I'm not going to be posting the final numbers (for mexico reasons) But it made 587rwhp 566 rwtq at about 4.6- 5psi that's the number coming from boost gauge but before throttle body it was about 8psi and spooling slower than a big single.. with boost leak ,huge exhaust leak befor turbo,faulty 02 sensor, i didnt have the wastegates properly routed, and some other small issues... I fixed them now and building 11psi. Hello spin city even with my dr on... Car was faster 0-140 na due to traction issues but with a Honda roll well... ;) highest boost levels I heard on a ls2 was 14psi supercharger and still running 14k+miles fine.. I figure mine will hold up better because my engine coompression is a little lower than a stock ls2 with these ls3 heads

Grant the car is tuned or I wouldn't of drove it 48miles 1 way to docs... I won't be posting the final numbers for numorus reasons ... As for track times.. Might see the strip once this coming summer. I'm not a fan of adding a roll cage judging if I can break 11.5's... :( Look me up I can't drive for shit ;)

Curious if you have any more photos of the intercooler your running and any details on it size wise. Im trying to figure out some details with my intercooler manufacture and wanted to see if I have access to anything close that I can use for some design work.

 

I know your pretty involved with the vette's and follow the boards. If you have any knowledge of any other intercooler guys have used and could shed some light on that topic for me, it would be greatly appreciated. Im trying to figure out if this is a platform I will design a kit for. From the looks, I think we can put a kit together without much issue. Sorry its not on topic with your thread and feel free to pm me on the topic if you would like.

Prc 670 lift dual springs and titanium retainers. Cam was a 228,232 114lsa. I'm either building a 402 or 427..Already have my new ls2 block and 4in callies crank. I have a custom TT kit mapped out but holding off on that in order to finishing building the engine. Im sticking with ls3 heads and porting the exhaust sides,eboost2,id1000 injectors, a new cam, clutch, and some tires will be done before this summer.. Looking at the Vic jr intake with 90 degree elbow. Might keep the same twin 58's idk yet.. Your right. A h/c ls2 at 11psi m6 would be a little more.. I would assume 760ish.. A guy with the same kit as me made 709rwhp on 9.5psi on a bone stock ls2 c6 m6.. I think he was on race gas though idk. Wasn't a dyno queen either as if I'm right he has the fastest stock ls2 m6 c6 to date with a 9.8 sec pass and also a 6.3 1/8mile pass

Fuel is an -8 feed and I used the stock to return.. I'm debating to do a -10 feed and 8 return. I might have to do more research in that. Fuel pump is an eleminator and suppose to be good for 1,400 hp fi but I'll be no where near that. Im prob gonna be getting meth as well since I'm staying with 93 octane than again e85 would be tits. Final goals are 850-950rwhp.. Then I'm going to work on Brakes >suspension> looks (c6z wide booty) I've been saying that since I started bolt ons lol
