Up for sale is my 99 Range Rover HSE 4.6 V8.

 

 

I'll do $4699 OBO CR price, need it gone asap.

NO TRADES. CASH ONLY.

 

 

Royal blue exterior on tan/beige interior, tan leather seats. Clean title, no accidents. 138K miles all service hsitory since new, had an extended service contract up to 100K.

 

The good:

-full time 4x4

-rust free

-no fault lights on

-timing chain motor and motor has no abnormal noises.

-harmon kardon 13 speaker stereo w/ 6 disc cd changer

-heated, memory, and multiway power front seats

-auto dimming rear view mirror

-active air suspension (EAS)

-auto climate control (dual zone, heated windsheild)

-power moonroof

-homelink system

-OEM tail light lense guards

-extra add on P38 removable cupholders (stock ones are terrible)

-Has 1 key fob, 1 valet key.

-18'' huricaine wheels with full size 18'' spare wheel/tire

-tow package

 

New items: OEM Serpentine belt at 135K

AC compressor clutch at 135K

New OEM valve cover gaskets and intake gasket (not installed currently)

fresh oil change every 3K w/ full synthetic and OEM filter

Transfer case, transmission, and both differntials had fluid changed 25K miles ago

Nitto grappler tires around 6-7/32 tread life remaining

-new EAS compressor and mounts at 134K

-new wiper blades in front at 131K

-new ball joints and an ABS pressure switch at 120k

 

Extras incuded:

-has a Thule cross bar roof rack

- EAS manual activation kit - jumper wire set, EAS serial cable, RAVE Land Rover repair manual on CD.

 

- Spare parts:

- New OEM V/C gasket set and intake gasket not installed yet.

-3rd brake light assy,

-spare suspension airbag (emergency bag)

-brake switch

- EAS compressor (needs rebuilt)

-air suspension hose (can add in anywhere if ever a line leak)

 

The attention needed areas/blemishes:

-slight paint clear coat fade on small areas of the hood (maybe wet sandable and buffable)

-key mark on drivers side

-normal dings/dents for typical 13 year old SUV

-headliner has a burn mark in it but easily repairable ( can fix for buyer under request)

-small oil leak from possible V/C gaskets ( only need to add oil every 1500-2K miles (1/4 quart if that)

-needs rear washer pump for rear wiper ($25)

I bought one of these new in 1998 and drove it three years without any issues. They are nearly unstoppable. Even if you would manage to hang one up with all 4 wheels off the ground, the traction program takes over and "reaches out" (using the air suspension) with the wheels, one at a time, attempting to find traction. I remember mine was north of $70,000 and towed about 7,000 lbs.
