acklac7
So im guessing this has been addressed here before but anyways, my premiums are sky high due to a failure to control and wreckless op within the past 2 years. Recently picked up another Lexus and am debating on putting it in either my brothers or fathers name, then having them get insurance on it. I've done this before in years past and have been listed as a "driver", however this time im probably not going to list myself on the policy as the policy will likely jump with the addition of my name/license. So question, can I just have have my father/brother insure it as one of there vehicles, then I "occasionally" drive it? What happens if I get in an accident? will insurance bitch up a storm because I wasn't listed as a driver?

Insurance claims will investigate and ask neighbors how often they see you driving the car and if it has been kept at your place, if there ever is an accident and feel there is something fishy going on.
