Need a dll for Windows 7

Anyone have this dll file? I deleeteled it on accident.

 

aghci.dll

 

It's location: C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\Roaming\aghci.dll

 

I've been unable to locate it online and can't find the windows cd to search on there.

 

Anyone have it or have an idea on where to find it? Thanks.

Thats not a windows dll. what software are you using that needs it? If you can, try reinstalling that program.

Google doesn't turn up a thing when searching for "aghci.dll"

 

Combined with the fact the .dll in question is located (or was located) in Appdata/Roaming and i'd be a little concerned.

Yeah, I tried looking it up that way, as well. Came up empty.

I know it's not malware. Double checked, long story.

 

Anyway, it's a legitimate file, ie; not malware in this case. I just don't recall which program needs it. Windows tells me it's missing after each startup. Not a big deal and at this point, I haven't had any real issues with it missing. Just bugs me is all.

run msconfig, check your startup tab and see if there are any programs there that don't belong.

type msconfig in the start menu search box and disable startup programs 1 at a time until it no longer shows the message on startup.. that can help narrow it down. It's time consuming but usually works at finding the program. If that doesn't isolate it, then it's an issue else where.

why would he do that? he only has one system. why would he need 32 system folders?
