Das Borgen
This is a BRZ / FRS that makes sense http://elementtuning.com/store/wp-content/uploads/2012/07/Element-UTCC-BCRacing.jpg http://elementtuning.com/store/wp-content/uploads/2012/07/DSC05850-e1343146058366.jpg But honestly...running 285 hoosier radial slicks (one of the faster slicks on the market currently) and still only posting practice times of around 2:20 and to eek out a flying TT lap of 2:17 at VIR is...well....ummmmmm still pretty slow. it's pretty weak it's dumb to run that wide a tire with the stock power levels.....it kills the braking balance and acceleration with absolutely no gain in cornering due to the already low CG bigger is not always better....there's always a limit
Draco-REX
I wonder if he was even getting those tires up to temp.
pontiacfreak142
^^^ I agree with a s/c 3800 Eh, it would be a cool swap and all, but seeing as the 3800 prolly weighs about the same as an ls motor (all iron vs all aluminum) id rather just have the more power from the ls. Now seeing as im pullng my 3800 out of the bird anyway, if i could find a brz cheap enough, i would drop it in. 300 ish hp and a good amount of low end torque in that chassis with a 6 speed would be a blast
Mr. Jones
3800..GROCE While you are at it, toss in a boat anchor, equally as cool.

neonkiller
Subaru BRZ LSX Swap In Progress http://www.lsxtv.com/news/someone-finally-swapped-a-lsx-engine-into-a-subaru-brz/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=someone-finally-swapped-a-lsx-engine-into-a-subaru-brz Weapons Grade Performance decided that a LS2 engine from a Pontiac GTO was the best solution to their power conundrum, and as it turns out the engine fits quite nicely under the stock hood of a BRZ. The engine is still a long way from actually being a working power plant, and we’d hate to be the guy charged with wiring that sucker up. Are you kidding on the wiring? It would take an hour of someones time and there is only 4 open leads.... http://secure.ultracart.com/catalog/PSI/STANDALONE-HARNESSES/LS-Harnesses-58x/HAR-1063.html
