beretta CX-4 Storm

Hi Point

and a handful of AR-15 versions

Can't think of any others that are new manufacture off the top of my head

There are older Rugers that I think were quite popular

I have one in 9mm. LOVE it.

Yeah. The Beretta feels great and I've considered getting one. Beyond a plinker I don't see a real use for a pistol caliber carbine so I held off. I would definitely if I had more disposable money.

Apparently the .45acp version only has 8 round magazines though. Unless you do some janky-ass DIY conversion to accept Glock 21 or whatnot.

Edit: I'll give concerns about over-penetration through walls being a reason to choose a pistol caliber carbine for home defense.

The KRISS loves to jam when dirty. May have been due to the fact it had a solid 1,000 rounds thrown through it earlier, but it would hiccup after a few mags.

There is the Thompson M1 carbine route for a cheaper alternative.

It's a hair heavy, but will sling all the 230 grain hardball you want to feed it.
