Claims the gun controllers who freak out about worst case scenarios of teachers with guns are irrational, yet uses worst case scenarios to make his point.:dumb:

RangerTurbo
He brings up some good points but the overalls message is, IMO, diluted by a lot of self-contradiction. Claims the gun controllers who freak out about worst case scenarios of teachers with guns are irrational, yet uses worst case scenarios to make his point.:dumb: Well, he has to relate to the group he's posing his thoughts to. Anyone progun is already pretty much going to agree with him. He's just catering to his target audience (you know, the "OMG we can't force every teacher to have guns now, think of all the childrens blood that will be spilled when a bully beats up the teacher, takes the gun, and goes on a rampage mowing down everyone one in sight with those 100 round assault muskets") by using the same hyperbole and sensationalism they would. Hopefully baiting them with their own tactics draws them into the convo. Otherwise they typically glass over when presented with facts and retort with "well, guns are bad, they should all be banned". I work with just such a numbskull, it's an exercise in futility trying to teach him anything. BTW, I know Larry. Took his CCW class. He is such a wealth of knowledge and able to articulate just about anything gun related in a sense that you are drawn in regardless of your opinions.
