Akula
I recently had my oil changed and needed wiper blades, they offered a deal for Aquapel and wanted to try it. It truly is Rain-ex on Steroids. The stuff is crazy good. Has anyone else tried it?
ross
I've been using it for a few years now. I got a case of it from a family member who used to work for a PPG supplier in florida. The price for one application of it from O'reilly's is like $9.99 though.
Wonderboy
I used it alot when I worked at NTB since it was something we offered. I love the stuff. I came to find that as long as I was going atleast 50mph or so I barely had to run the wipers in the rain.

bmwohio
Heard nothing but good reviews on detailing forum. Here's a link to a sale, and some bulk buys if you want. http://www.autogeek.net/aquapel-glass-care.html
Mitch
I put it on the GTI when it was pretty much brand new, in May. the windows had never seen any sort of treatment. Cleaned the windows then prepped them with the alcohol pads, then applied the product. It's still noticeably effective to date, 8 months and 8k miles later. There was no noticeable hazing like you get if you miss buffing out a spot of Rainx. On my other cars using rainx at about 30-35 rain would be driven off the windshield. Aquapel doesn't do that until about 50. So Rain-x seems better in city driving from what I've seen. I don't get any of the wiper chatter that rain-x is notorious for, so that's a definite plus. For me, rain-x gets applied way more often, usually every other car wash. Just my experiences with both. YMMV
BBQdDude
Been using it on the last two cars. Love how it works and holds up.
Das Borgen
Performance Auto Spa in Plain City stocks Aquapel. It's a good product that does last a long time, figure at least 5 months if oyu drive the car every day
