dover
I have some training February 3-9, then some more early March then will be taking off for a bit. Looking to purchase a good quality vest. I have looked at Condor and Eagle Industries. I see prices from as little as $100 to $1000. I just want something that is comfortable and quality made. Any information would be great.
stangsn95gt
I wouldn't go with a plate carrier if its just for a class I'd prob use something like the blue force gear ten-speed it's not that expensive and I've heard good reviews. http://www.blueforcegear.com/ten-speed-chest-rig/

M0nk3y
Condor is utter crap, it's basically the level of beginner airsoft, per say. Thread quality isn't that great Pantac would be a higher quality than Condor, much better quality...I had a Pantac RRV I used for airsoft, which can accept a front plate: http://www.airsoftohio.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=1223&pictureid=9819 I've wore HSGI, EI, and LBT gear though. All excellent gear.
Rustlestiltskin
Cheaper than dirt have decent Mollie plate carrier vests that are $59 n up. I got one and it's pretty nice for $60. I'll post a link in a second. Link to the one I got: http://www.cheaperthandirt.com/product/MOLLE-218 Link to others: http://www.cheaperthandirt.com/SolrSearchResults.aspx?site=All+Products&num=15&q=Plate+carrier+vest
Scotty2Hotty
Check out SO-tech. I rocked one in Trashcanistan, I ran the Callahan. Their new Viper is almost perfect for running a gun on the belt with mags. The Eagle CIRAS is comfortable, but bulky by comparison to others. It's all personal preference, but I prefer a basic set up for rifle kit, first aid, misc crap pouch. I ran all my pistol crap to my belt. Lack of side plates made drawing your sidearm 10 fold better. dover
http://www.specialforces.com/image/data/standard/STBLVV-large1.jpg That is exactly what I am looking to purchase, is that the SO-tech you are talking about?
Scotty2Hotty
That is exactly what I am looking to purchase, is that the SO-tech you are talking about? Yup. It's their newest carrier they came out with a year or so ago. http://specopstech.com/osc/product_info.php?products_id=2011 Expect to wait a bit, for they're in high demand overseas. There's a company called specialforces gear (or something close) that is a distributor too.
BigOxley
I have a basic black uncle Mike's carrier. It was $120-160 if I remember correctly. http://www.opticsplanet.com/uncle-mike-s-law-enforcement-plate-carrier-vest-w-cummerbund-black-or-od-green-770261.html
