Ever drive really easy on cruise for a long trip, it's amazing how much mileage we throw away having fun. A4 goes from a full tank DIS indicator of 300-350 to 475-500. I haven't owned a car that used conventional oil since 2005. I do know oil technology has evolved significantly, so most oils can do 5k. Look at the oil analysis topics online, you will find everything you need. My wifes car uses 7500 mile intervals, with full synthetic in a naturally aspirated car, driven moderately. I use 5000 mile intervals, full synthetic ina turbocharged car, driven agressively. Do your own reseach on car/engine/oil specifics. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
