suprabst
What's the real difference? I obviously know nothing about spark plugs lol. I'm guessing it's just iridium?
MattKatz
6 is a regular v notched electrode and Ix is an iridium plug. Both are of the same heat range. Your application might help make a bit better answer.

JuicedH22
You want the regular TR6, depending on boost level. if more boost, may want to switch to a BR7
MattKatz
I'm on an ix plug but only because I went to max boost on the blower. A tr6 is more for a bolt on mild setup.

suprabst
6's should be ok. I run 7's with 20 pounds Actually will it hurt anything to just spend the extra money on the iridiums? Any pros or cons? MattKatz
surprised you didnt go colder Kyle... Man I didn't say what heat range I use...just that I was on ix plugs. Duh.
MattKatz
I would NOT run itidiums unless I had to. At your level on e85, I would not waste the extra $50. Seriously, just put a regular in You desired heat range.
DTM Brian
Actually will it hurt anything to just spend the extra money on the iridiums? Any pros or cons? I am fan of plain jane copper plugs. I do not see the need for anything else. Some what off topic - Are you doing a SD tune or Maf?
Cordell
I am fan of plain jane copper plugs. I do not see the need for anything else. I have to agree, correctly gapped copper plugs work just as good or better in a performance engine then anything else. If you care about your engine you should be checking them regularly anyway.
