Das Borgen
Perhaps you all recall the man who became known as Technoviking. Dancing on a Berlin street in 2000 during the Berlin Fuckparade (?), he became an instant Internet celebrity. Now, it seems he wants to cash in. Technoviking, whose name has not been released, is suing Matthias Frisch, the maker of the video, demanding that all instances of the video be taken down from the Internet. If Fritsch doesn't comply, he could face a €250,000 (roughly $334,441 U.S.) fine and six months in prison On an overcast day at the Berlin Fuckparade in 2000, German artist Matthias Fritsch created a film that changed the Internet. As the denizens of the techno parade marched, Fritsch caught something extraordinary: a giant of a man who looked like he was ripped from Scandinavian mythology, dancing with wild robotic precision to a thumping techno beat. He became known as the "Technoviking," the accidental star of one of the biggest Internet memes of the 2000s and the subject of a thousand Internet remixes. Now the Technoviking is proving to be as ruthless in court as he is on the dancefloor. http://www.dailydot.com/news/technoviking-lawsuit-matthias-fritsch-settlement/
Farkas
Well, the parade that this took place at in Berlin is called the Love Parade, not the Fuck Parade. I agree that if this is a real case, it likely won't be in the Technoviking's favor. It is impossible for a single person to remove every single instance of something from the innanets.... just not possible. And as was pointed out, he was at a very well known festival and without surprise it is publically documented with video by many.

Mensan
If Matthias Frisch made a lot of money due primarily or wholly from a video that he took which featured ONLY a single person, then it is only right that the person is entitled to royalties. If the video (or videos) that Frisch took were compilations of multiple people, then he'd be less likely to have a case. The fact that he's asking to have the videos removed is just so that he can say he gave the other guy a choice, and seeing how unlikely it is that the videos can be removed, the person being sued is more likely to cave. You are the only person on the internet who claims otherwise. Even the fucking lawsuit says it was at fuckparade.
