Forrest Gump 9
I read somewhere on here that I can sell old 50 cent coins for more than face value, but for some reasons I can't find the thread. I've just raided my old piggy bank and have more than $200 worth of them. So who ever that was please point me to the right direction. Thank in advance. If I made enough of a profit i may send you a case of coronas .

Dr. Pomade
Are 50 cent coins riddled with bullet holes? They might have been hit with a few shells and now walk with a limp.
paktinat
I'll buy any half dollar 1970 and earlier. PM me.
jeffro
The only half dollars worth anything are pre 1972. Pre 1965 were 90% silver and 65-71 were 40%. After that everything went clad. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Half_dollar_(United_States_coin)
Wease
If they are not silver (1964 and before), I don't think they are worth much more than 50 cents. But perhaps there are some that are. Some coin guys on here can probably verify that...

Turbs3000
I wonder if when they aired this episode they knew the craziness that was about to ensue.
