DaddyBuiltRacing
This is the first "legit" camera we have owned, usually we just use our cell phones to take pics. Anyways this thing is pretty nice and does some cool stuff, really need someone to point me in the direction of a good editing program, plus I am always open to suggestions on how to take better pictures. Here's some of what I have taken 1. (Friend using my camera took this) http://i1298.photobucket.com/albums/ag53/DaddyBuiltRacing/Tyson/564740_241233379356340_1655537995_n_zpsc191aa59.jpg 2. http://i1298.photobucket.com/albums/ag53/DaddyBuiltRacing/Tyson/DSCN0321_zpsfe645b00.jpg 3. http://i1298.photobucket.com/albums/ag53/DaddyBuiltRacing/Tyson/482775_241233056023039_1564524779_n_zpsff5d7bde.jpg 4. http://i1298.photobucket.com/albums/ag53/DaddyBuiltRacing/DSCN0166_zps85b7158e.jpg 5. http://i1298.photobucket.com/albums/ag53/DaddyBuiltRacing/Justins%20Civic/DSCN0144_zpsf1804282.jpg 6. http://i1298.photobucket.com/albums/ag53/DaddyBuiltRacing/Pounds%20240/joe_zpsd7c7399d.jpg 7. mrs.cos
Simple question how to improve very easily. Why are the last two pictures so more eye catching than the first. What did you do differently? I like the picture of your little boy at the fence- if you had been at his level it would have been a much better representation. Of his view of the world. When photographing kids it is almost always a better view at thier level. Lay on the ground with them. Get in your knees- kneel.. What ever. Looks like you had a good time playing with the new toy. You can get photoshop elements for like 80$- it will have everything you need.

What did you do differently? I am gonna guess they are more eye catching due to the level the camera was at? Thanks, I will consider that next time I shoot pics of him and his cousins.
mrs.cos
I am gonna guess they are more eye catching due to the level the camera was at? bingo! Your eyes are being led through out the image. Also- the "shadow" pic, the shadow could have actually been used as a framing tool if the car had been aligned differently Thanks, I will consider that next time I shoot pics of him and his cousins. Xyster101
Nice pick up on the camera! Have fun. Your composition will improve as you play around. I am always learning, plus everyone else's pictures always seem to look better then mine. I like that second to last pic. No idea what the car is, besides a piece, but I can't help but look at it to figure it all out.
