3G welders needed for Lima and Toledo

Currently in need of welders for the Toledo and Lima area. These welders are doing heavy industry type work with storage tanks that are used in the oil, gas and petrochemical industry. You could work in Lima or Toledo, but I have needs for both.

 

Job Description:

-Stick weld structual steel plates in erection process of storage tanks

-1/2 carbon steel material (mild steel)

-Welds will require 3G positions

-Equipment is electrical welding

-Felt welding and mainway welds

-Project will last till end of June, depending on performance, could go longer and be perminate.

-Will work 5x10's, Saturday would be a make up day if needed

 

**Must be able to pass a a weld test that consists of 3 positions – vertical, horizontal, and overhead using a 7018 weld rod on a ½” thick carbon steel plate with a butt joint. The weld must be 100% penetration and will need to pass a visual examination and an x-ray. The welder must pass all 3 positions. **
