mrs.cos
So a couple weeks ago , LR released beta 5 for public testing and i have been playing around with ti. Im super happy it has a book layout but havent messed with it much yet. One thing it has that is REALLY cool is an aspect ration thingy that fixes building angles that are often cursed with wide angle lenses. You can do this in photoshop by MANUALLY using the persepctive tool, but in LR5, its now a one click fix. Super easy. (i am of the understanding that Apeture also has had this feature for a while, but im on a mac, so ) example http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8399/8692232592_8a02b17f01_c.jpg Ohio_state_reformatory-0030.jpg by Lucky Lola Studios, on Flickr lightroom 5 beta fix http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8277/8703881349_f841c85642_c.jpg ohio_state_reformatory-108.jpg by Lucky Lola Studios, on Flickr

Turbotrio
I've never tried LR but I will have to find some time and play around with it. I use Aperture and my goal is to spend less than a minute editing any pic so the faster/easier the better. Jeff

Jeff Aperture and Lightroom are pretty similar from what I understand as far as editing, but does it catalog too?
