zeitgeist57 Posted May 22, 2013 Report Share Posted May 22, 2013 Fifth Third Bank Position Description TITLE: Client Specialist II JOB CODE: 10-156 MANAGER: Client Services Team Lead FLSA STATUS: Exempt DIVISION: Commercial GENERAL FUNCTION: Acts as liaison between Treasury Management Officer, Relationship Manager, Portfolio Manager, and Corporate customers. Ensure proper implementation of Treasury Management Products and accounts. Service relationships according to Bank policy and procedures and refer major decision to supervisor. Provide administrative support to Relationship Managers and Treasury Management Officers as detailed below. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: · Customer Service: (40%) o Ensure client satisfaction; provide timely responses to client requests. o Take ownership and deliver timely resolution of customer issues. o Drive problem resolution on all Treasury Management & Credit services including working with IT, Product Management, and Operations. o Proactive client contact, as needed. o Research items hitting Treasury Management and Credit products. o Train clients on general Treasury Management products. o New product assimilation and follow-up. o Client visits as needed. o Perform XAA reanalysis requests, basic loan advances, paydowns, and simple loan inquiries. · Implementation: (40%) o Take ownership and facilitate account and new business setups between TMO, Product Support and Client. o Verifying exception pricing during prelims. o Ensures open communication with Treasury Management Officer, Relationship Manager, Portfolio Manager, AFD, Operations and clients during implementation period. o Follow-up with customer to ensure services are working properly. o Opening of DDAs. · Administrative Duties: (20%) o Generate and distribute reports as necessary. o Assist RMs with overdraft process. o Assist RMs/TMs in maintaining CRM. o Provide sales assistance, i.e., binding of proposals, mailings, problem log, phone coverage, etc. o Other tasks as assigned. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: Requires high school education or GED and a minimum of 5 years of banking experience. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Ability to clearly communicate concepts verbally and in written form. Ability to work independently and to handle and prioritize multiple tasks. Organizational and time management skills are also required. Basic proficiency in PC software: Excel, Word, Outlook, etc. WORKING CONDITIONS: · Normal office environment with little exposure to dust, noise, temperature and the like. · Extended viewing of CRT screen.
