99 olds intrigue: Changed wheel bearings now shifting funny, hard and jumpy speedo

Could this be a bad abs sensor that come attached to then wheel bearings or a separate issue like the VSS? Didn't start until after the bearing hubs were changed on the front. Some time you can baby it and it's shift fine, other times it shifts hard as hell, if at all andf sometimes it's go from first to acting like neutral.

 

Before the bearings were changed there weren't any issues. Shifted great and on time. Just noisy bearings.

forgot to mention is seems like a short some where. If it's acting up and you barely wiggle the steering wheel back and forth real fast it'll fix itself for a minute. I checked the wires as good as I could and found no shorts but it's hard to do when it's not something that acts up sitting still. I assumed maybe the abs sensor in one of the bearings is shorted
