DKilbourne
I am just putting this up here as I work for Ashland and an email went out looking for people who may be qualified. I have no extra info, but will attempt to answer any questions. Temporary Material Handler: A temporary Material Handler is needed at Ashland Performance Materials’ new startup pilot facility located at 3849 Fisher Rd, in Columbus, Ohio. Ashland’s Global Technology group has developed a new product. The pilot facility is in the final phases of construction and is currently producing material for development testing, customer trials, and marketing studies. The project involves proprietary information; selected candidates will be required to sign a non-disclosure agreement. The primary functions of the operators will be to support all production activities involved with preparing the equipment for production runs, operating the equipment during the production runs, and shutdown and cleanup of the production equipment. The operators will also be required to collect data during the production runs. These positions will: □ Operate chemical mix tanks and associated processing equipment- controls, valves, pumps, meters, material handling. □ Operate a forklift to transport raw materials and charge raw materials to the mix tanks. □ Record process conditions and test in-process samples to properly manufacture the products. □ Occasionally unload or load trucks. □ Operate a wide-belt sander. Qualifications Successful candidates will have: □ H. S. diploma, or equivalent. □ Previous experience with chemical processing equipment is preferred. □ Ability to work with teams and individually. □ Good communication skills (the ability to speak English a must). □ Forklift driver certification. You don't generally mix the two or you're likely to lose in one category or the other. There aren't too many who are actually qualified for both. I do happen to fall into that category, however. Any idea on pay, schedule, hours or approx. length of job?

Any idea on pay, schedule, hours or approx. length of job? No idea on the pay, but it would most likely be a 40 hrs a week job. Not sure on the duration either. I think that it would be a temp to permanent type deal. Probably get better answers from the agency.
