RC K9
I got a bunch of cucumbers in my garden this year, so I decided to start experimenting with pickle making. I did both vinegar based pickles and lacto fermented. The sweet/vinegar based are good after a couple days, but kind of shrivel a bit. Still maintain crunch though. I also tried a jar of lacto fermented ones. Worlds different than the vinegar based pickles. I enjoy the one batch I made. A little salty for me, but still good, and I have 5 others started all with something a little different spice wise, so I am anxious to see how those turn out. I am very new to this. It's my first try at pickling veggies. Anybody else here make there own? Do you have any tips/advice?
