LPFSTheFett Posted August 15, 2013 Report Share Posted August 15, 2013 I get all my physical gold/silver from Gainsville. They seem to be the cheapest over spot. Sometimes good deals can be had at APMEX. There are also ETF's that you can trade where you can avoid the premiums. Even if your talking about 100 oz brick of silver, spot price may only be .75 cents over, but that's still 3.5% you have to make up. So if in it short term, ETF's may be something to consider, but if your in it for the long haul and don't plan on selling ever or 20+ years from now, then I'd go physical.
