what in the fuck is going on in here? you putting a Yamaha R1 motor in your FD?

FD's came in touring and R1. The R1 from the factory is better suspention, 2nd oil cooler, no sunroof........blah blah blah.

Kevin has been working on so many other cars, he has not done any of the changes he wants to his own. His car is pretty sick, needless to say. There's nothing that needs fixed. Kevin and I have talked of being in a constant state of perfect them to us. We understand that is pretty much endless.

Here's what I was able to find for model info if anyone is interested. It does not list the R2, but they came out in 94-95.

In 1993, three North American models were offered; the "base", the touring, and the R models. The touring FD included a sunroof, fog lights, leather seats, a rear window wiper and a complex Bose Acoustic Wave system. The R (R1 in 1993 and R2 in 1994–95) models featured stiffer suspensions, an aerodynamics package, purple-hued microfiber seats (which are sometimes erroneously considered to be suede), and Z-rated tires. In 1994 a PEG (performance equipment group) model was offered. This model featured leather seats and a sunroof. It did not include the fog lights or Bose stereo of the touring package. In 1995 the touring package was replaced by the PEP (popular equipment package). The PEP package contained leather seats, sunroof and fog lights, but didn't have the Bose Stereo nor the rear window wiper.

Well Joe's stats are pretty accurate lol. The R2 model sold in US in 1994 and 1995 is basically same as the original R1 from 1993 except the springs and struts are not as stiff. Stiffer than all other models but less than R1. Another popular, common luxury w/models other than "R" would be cruise control, and rear wiper/washer. The "microfiber" material used for R model seats is not to be confused w/any inferior material of similar name. In fact, the material in question is top quality, considered superior to all leather materials and is same material used by top seat manufacturers such as RECARO. In fact, it is used in place of suede, especially when weight savings is an issue. Its lighter, lol.

Well, thats it.
