Many of you are familiar with Bucky Balls. They're the original spherical magnetic balls intended as desktoys for adults.

Buckyballs became available to the public in 2009. In ~2011 Buckyballs, after hearing about several injuries related to youth ingesting Buckyballs, voluntarily initiated an aggressive warning campaign consisting of multiple videos, and multiple warning labels on products.

In 2012 the Consumer Product Safety Commision sued Maxfield and Oberton, the company behind Buckyballs. The resulting legal fees drove the company out of business.

In 2013 The CPSC took unprecedented action and individually sued the (now ex) CEO of Maxfield and Oberton for $57M; the estimated cost of a Buckyballs recall. This lawsuit allegedly violates LLC laws.

Later in 2013, Maxfield and Oberton fought back. They are now suing the CPSC.

Buckyballs are BACK ON SALE (albeit in a slightly altered, and more expensive state) with all proceeds going towards legal fees to sue the CPSC.
