RS69
Yep, after all the talk, unlike Clay, we purchased the Passat. So, far after 100 miles I and the wife like. This is her new daily driver. Her previous car was a 97 850 Volvo which we purchased new. It now has 203k on it and is my dd, until my 15 year starts driving. Planned updates: Splash guards on all four corners Clear front end protector film (IPS or Pickup Plus ?)

Mr. Jones
Welcome to the family. It's a hard to beat car for daily/commuting purposes if you do lots of highway driving. I got mine around july/august of last year and just clicked over 22k already. Fuel savings this year along is unbelievable.

POS VETT
Not bad of a purchase. Find Julius Poa for paint protection film; he comes to you and his price is competitive plus he folds most of the edges.

cybe
#dieselclub. There's a campaign for fuel-filler inserts (doesn't allow a gas nozzle) that may/may not already be in place. Worth checking.
