2006 charger w/ hemi dip stick broke

Buddy at work had the plastic part separate from the rest of it. He is unable get it out now.

 

Any ideas on removal?

The plastic ring broke off of the dip stick? Is the top of the dipstick still stuck in the hole?

 

Sometimes you can heat a small wood screw and thread it into the remaining plastic, or needle nose pliers..

 

Some people just have to replace the entire assembly.

I'll have to check to make sure, but he said the plastic piece removed completely from the metal section.

Heat up the tube then stick a screw into it. Let it cool down. Put a little pb blaster on it then twist the screw while pulling it up.
