truckin Posted April 30, 2014 Report Share Posted April 30, 2014 Does anyone have experience acid staining concrete? I'm wanting to stain my concrete porch in a darker color. It's a broom finish, never been stained or sealed. I powerwash it every year and getting tired of it showing dirt. Also like to have 2 retaining walls poured and colored as well. Troy2285 Posted April 30, 2014 Report Share Posted April 30, 2014 I do allot of it. Make sure you do a sample because sometimes acid wont react. I've had some jobs not take at all, even with surface prep. Acid staing is really nice but it can highlight any flaws ( stains, cracks, spalls, etc).
