I will be in OH that weekend. I plan on coming up either Friday or Sunday to say hello to some people, but unfortunately not Saturday as I too have a wedding.

Jordan, if I make it up there Fri or Sun, i'll hit you up if for nothing else other than to just say hello.

Nice! If you see my car (it will have red JET Auto stickers on the quarter windows) come by and say hi.

I used to come to DSM Shootouts. My first one was in '98 and I still have the t-shirt. Along with several friends, I managed & participated in the first DSM Shootout autox ever. In '00, I won my class in my ESP-legal 2G AWD and scored a certificate for a set of Kumho tires. One year, a bunch of DSMers from Dallas rented a semi and transported their cars to the SO. The stories of hooliganism and hilarious events were abound; even mixed with a bit of drama and romance. Several stories of clutch, transmission, and transfer case replacements taking place at a hotel parking lot.

I still have old friends going there; none of us drive a DSM anymore. Most went to Evo, GT-R, and others; I was the only one who went to Corvette. I have entertained the idea of coming back, but could never find the time and the urge to go.

You should make this year the year you come back ;)

I'm planning on being there.

You better get ahold of me when you get there!

  • 2 weeks later...
Was a blast as always even though I did finally kill my stock bottom end lol

Awesome racing, Jordan, you were killin it out there! Can't wait till next year.

Thanks bro!

I had a blast!

Even though I didn't get my 9 second run, I did get a new best of 10.1 @ 137

I'll get that 9 next year, and hopefully a 1st place trophy instead of this years 2nd ;)

Sorry to hear your bottom end let go. You and I just talked about how we were both on the edge of that yesterday morning.

Can't wait to see how much power you come back with once you have the built bottom end!
