Anyone have experience with this camera? Very affordable and has crazy zoom. The swivel screen seems weird and useless. I was watching some youtube videos on it and there barely seems to be much of a difference between the SX50 and the SX60.

Ill be giving my Panasonic Lumix to my mom for Christmas and want an upgrade for myself.

$233 Shipped New in box:

Well thats annoying. Pulled the trigger on the ebay ad yesterday afternoon and was pretty stoked to get it at that price. Turns out the seller claims he was hacked and didn't actually have the items. Now i have $230 floating out there is paypal land that cannot be used for probably a week.

Good camera. Have the SX40 in my bag as a go-to carry around unit. Decent IQ. Anything above 800mm and regardless of stabilization, you'll still need a tripod or monopod to get great images, regardless of make or model. It's not an action camera so if you're looking to shoot kids or sports, etc. this is not the gear.

Ended up with a Panasonic FZ70. My previous camera was an FZ7 so i have high hopes for panasonic.

16mp, 60x optical, 1080p recording. Hopefully this one actually gets here.
