bdhill
you have to be careful...some insurance companies might put theft recovery on the car and will end up on car fax impacting the car's value and lots of explaining if owner ever sells
Farkas
If that's really the case why didn't the police just leave it there and stake it out until the thief ass bitches come back? That's a great idea, maybe if they had a crystal ball and the police knew that was the trailer that was stolen.
Snowflake
Police found the trailer dumped at an apartment complex nearby. Trailer still had temp tags, and they called up the dealer that sold the trailer and found out it belonged to Studio47, who then contacted Ed to let him know the car was found. Lock on the trailer had not been touched, so it was basically dumped to see if it would be hot, and they'd return days later to pick it up if it were still there. That's a great idea, maybe if they had a crystal ball and the police knew that was the trailer that was stolen. So how the fuck did they not know it was stolen when they found it and contacted the dealer? Who then contacted the owner? Was all this done before they even knew their trailer was missing? Was all this done before they even knew their trailer was missing? Obviously they didn't know it was stolen until the trailer was removed and put in an impound lot. The trailer was found partially blocking a dumpster, taking up a few parking spots at an apartment complex. The complex had the trailer removed, and the impound was trying to figure out who owned it, only to find out that it was reported stolen. Police have better things to do than keep tabs on every stolen item across the city.
