GSXRAntwon
So after years of having HIDs in all of my cars, and all of the headaches of ballasts and bulbs, I finally went LED. I must say at first I was skeptical. After installation, IM A BELIEVER. These things are frickin bright! I ordered the kit you see in the link here: http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00NK9TDLK/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?qid=1419384623&sr=8-1&pi=AC_SY200_QL40&dpPl=1&dpID=41oslcbRDTL&ref=plSrch The LEDs are 50 Watts, 2400 Lumens PER BULB, and 5000K in color. They are the perfect light output compared to a standard halogen or a blueish HID. Shitty pics but you get the idea: http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c381/hlfvipr/ECCC7C7C-3039-4D92-AB48-2DF4D74EA28C_zpsgyxmwin0.jpg http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c381/hlfvipr/7A98E728-5F05-437F-999B-13A595D586EE_zpso39s150y.jpg http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c381/hlfvipr/4CD78D2D-6276-4A6D-B347-8C06AA90D2ED_zpskzqhujdg.jpg Halogen vs LED http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c381/hlfvipr/8EFD90D9-92BA-467C-B9D2-5C07378EBCE0_zpsh33i0v9u.jpg
Rocky31186
I like mine too. H11 50watt Cree bulb. I will say the fans are kind of noisy. But light output is good. I also went with the 5k color. LED top 35watt hid fogs http://i801.photobucket.com/albums/yy296/rocky31186/DSC_8579_zpsaaaec464.jpg
smokin5s
wow! they have come a long way... I love my HID's but those looks like a good alternative.... how long do they say the bults will live?
Snowflake
How are they as far as other drivers? Do you get flashed a lot with people thinking you have you high beams on?

If you get them here they technically last forever https://www.lifetimeledlights.com/products/category/headlights
Das Borgen
LEDs of similar wattage as halogens or xenons should have more light output
6 Speed S4
looks cool, I know the new MDX has LED lead lights. THey are pretty bright, I'll maybe try a set of LEDs in my fogs. I was planning an HID conversion but ill try LED.

HID is a great technology...but with the advances of LEDs it's hard to beat their light output and longevity
zeitgeist57
I'm a little apprehensive about the product itself after seeing the Amazon reviews. Keep us in the loop how it's functioning a few weeks from now? * we all know the internet is for people to bish and I'm sure the vast majority of people don't screw up the install and have a great experience with the product. Rocky31186
Mine are still going strong. Just went on a 2 hour trip and they were on the entire time with no issues. Only part that I don't like is the fans... no issues with them but I believe that is the weak spot.
cstmg8
Stupid question, but do you have to have the hid setup already, or can these directly replace standard halogen headlights? H9-h11 for example?
