EMP Tek EF50T 5.1 speaker set. $500 OBO

Great speaker set that will easily fill up all but the largest rooms. EMP Tek is a 'daughter' company RBH, a well know, well renowned speaker maker based out of Canada. They are a great value for the money. I used these at our old apartment but never set them back up at our house since we decided to go with a soundbar setup. If we ever do a full setup again, I will do some nice built in speakers in the walls for ascetics or I would just keep these for using them down the road.

Onkyo TX-SR606 $50 OBO

Something happened to the HDMI daughter board, it's a common problem. I attempted to replace a few caps per info I found online, but it didn't fix the issue for me. All non-HDMI related functions work 100%, stereo switching, video switching for non-HDMI sources. So this can be used as a receiver, amp, garage amp.

Onkyo TX-DS575 $25 OBO

Something happened to the DSP chip. If you use this as a stereo switch or direct 5.1 input, it works fine. But if you try to do anything DSP related; sound modes or I think even bass management it shuts off. Amp section works 100%. So this can be used as a receiver, amp, garage amp.

Olympus PRO LX5s $50 OBO Great sounding little speaker, but can use a sub due to their size.

Speaker Stands $20 OBO

Adjustable from about 24"-38". Plate the speaker sits on is 4"x4". Works great for a small speaker like a surround, I used them with the Olympus speakers

So optical cable connection and coaxial digital cable connections work fine? If so i may be interested.

Bottom one (575) no, DSP chip is bad. Only analog works.

Top one (606), IIRC yes. As far as I know and remember yes, only HDMI is no good. I think that's how I had it hooked up last time I used it, with analog components for video and some sort of digital (coax or optical) for audio. But it's been 3 years since I had this setup in the old apartment. I did check to make sure it was still working, but only by hooking up some analog. I'll try to check it tonight. :) HDMI daughter board is a common issue on these things.

FYI, I linked those picture for the 606 wrong, and put the picture of the 575 for both. 606 is this one http://www.onkyousa.com/Products/model.php?m=TX-SR606&class=Receiver

606 confirmed working with digital optical out from the TV to receiver, all 7 channels.

Unfortunately I have nothing on hand with digital coax, but I'm pretty sure it would be the same result.

Unfortunately it looks like the volume hard knob on the receiver is a little wonky, doesn't work all that well. But the remote works 100% and changes the volume fine.
