zeitgeist57
Cleetus has developed a couple of rust spots that I want to cut out and tack-weld some patch panels to. Given the...*ahem*...humble nature of Cleetus, I don't need some fancy, made-in-Taiwan rust replacement panels that are e-coated and overcharged from LMC Truck... Does anyone have a door, fender, or hood from an older teeruk or car I can have? I'll cut out the sheetmetal I need, hammer the shit out of it, weld it on and smooth out the junk with Bondo. Some cheap leftover paint and it'll be like it never happened. Not that anyone would give a shit anyway. <<<Fat and happy white-collar suburbanite without aging sheetmetal in my backyard. Green Bastard
I have a couple squares of 10 gauge sheet metal from work, it is all flat and probably 12" x 12" (roughly). I can get you some scrap from work if you need a different thickness too, we have 10, 12, 14 (maybe), 16, 18, and 20 gauge metals.

zeitgeist57
Good call, Ryan...I'm not sure what gauge thickness the old Ford sheetmetal is from 1982... I'll take whatever. Just shoot me a PM and I'll come pick it up. (within reason )
POS VETT
Fancy and made-in-taiwan don't mix
zeitgeist57
Big thanks to Ryan for getting me some virgin pieces of metal that were throwaway from the shop floor. He also threw in some TIG gloves that are softer than my golf set. Thank you, man!
