Wellllllll.... got the car a proper alignment and made the trip out to WBTB and had a great time. No issues to speak of- might add a second slim fan, but otherwise this car has been great. Decided to get some quality photos of the car now that the project is slowing down. :heart:

I come from an air coooled vw back ground and as you know they may not mix all that well with water cooled vw's. With that being said, I can say I am impressed with your build. You didn't go too crazy with camber and its well put together.

 

The lingering question.... Any plan for a turbo?

Uhmmm, genuinely no interest in a turbo... Not enough room for a good-sized intercooler and piping. HOWEVER, I think 268s and a 100 shot of spray will be more than enough to burn the tires right off in a 4th gear pull. :)

 

As the car sits right now, the estimated power/weight is exactly the same as my 964 and should run high 13s. I'd love to dip into mid-12s with the car and call it quits there.
