Really looking forward to heading to this race in a few days. I've been tasked with shooting 3-4 feature cars, doing a photo extra gallery, and helping the main guy do our same day coverage. I've got some off camera flash gear I will be trying and a new 50mm lens I want to get creative with and do some wide angle stuff. I know nothing about photography, but I would imagine you need ridiculous shutter speed to get shots like that with no blur? Can't wait to see this years. That shot was done app. priority where the camera chose the shutter speed. I was trying to get the car in focus and get the background to blur, just lucked into that shot to be 100% honest. If they end up using the VP products and Pooch is doing prep, then I'm thinking you will see 5-10 teams in the 3's: Edwards, Stevie Fast, DeMarco, Berrry, Vladin, Mickey, Hancock, Mills, Scotty G, and maybe Sexton, or Deckart if they show. Motormaniatv will have the race, dragzine will be doing same day coverage and updates, I will be running around doing hoodrat stuff with my camera.
