It comes down to, it has to fit your hand. If you have giant hands and this creates more contact with the pistol vs. overlap, than it may be the right thing for you. If you are shooting correctly and it helps, so be it. If your grip is bad, and you add this to it, you're throwing parts at a problem instead of fixing the problem. Are you more effective with it, and a proper grip? Edited by Mojoe

I went to Black Wing after work and I definitely didn't like the feel without the Hogue slip-on

 

After a few mags, my hands felt a bit carpal-tunnel like. But the gun is quite accurate and a joy to shoot. Mad fun
