BBQdDude
I know how to do this on a car but wanted to check first for a bike. HD fatboy, sticker on back fender. What is the safest way to remove it?

Turbs3000
Goof off or goo gone then wash that area and wax it afterward
bmwohio
also try heating with hair dryer or heat gun (but not to close if using heat gun - use a back and forth motion) then use goo gone for remainder of 'stickies' - wax topper, done! Geeto67
Is it under the clear or not? Stock decals are usually under the clear. If you have a "denim" paint job (Harley's fancy word for semi-gloss) then there is still a clear coat it is just not a gloss clear coat. Test by seeing if your fingernail catches the decal edge. If it is under the clear then just leave it alone, you'll screw up the paint trying to remove it. If it is not under the clear, I usually remove decals by softening them with either window cleaner or goo gone and then use a plastic card to try to peel it up. BBQdDude
Added sticker from prior owner not a factory decal. Cool same routine as on cars. Wasn't sure and wanted to be safe.
Gergwheel1647545492
Angle grinder and acetone should get it gone.
