01sentrase2.0
Air conditioner isn't blowing out cold air. Guessing it needs recharged. I called fire and ice and they said $89 to come out. Then freon cost on top of that. Anyone cheaper on the initial cost? Thanks, Luke

Jackson1647545504
If it "needs recharged" then it has a leak that needs resolved . I get mine "recharged" once every 3-4 years. Will replace the leak with a new system when the time comes.

zeitgeist57
I had the same issue last year. It turned out to be the RUN CAPACITOR. $125 srvice call for a $20 part I could've installed myself. Look to find it on your outside unit...if it's rusted/swollen swap it with a new one and that should fix the problem. http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/showthread.php?t=118003&highlight=HVAC
zeitgeist57
Also from my linked thread from last year, Chris (I Drive It...It Breaks!) is the f**king man for HVAC needs. He'll help a CR brother out.
01sentrase2.0
Big shout out to Brad for the first of many recommendations for pat. Pat came out and did his work and charged me a 3rd of what others quoted me. Had to come back to double check pressure and fix what another company screwed up and charge me some low fee for being there 3 hours. Will definitely recommend him to anyone needing ac work.
