Forrest Gump 9
My understand is when the tire spins on the rim you need bead lock, right? Is it you screw the screws into the side of the rim so the screws go thru the side of the rim and tire? Also, any local shop that can do that? iwashmycar
You are talking cars, not trucks right? I think there is somewhat of a difference in the execution of the two. But yes, I think that is how they do it for slicks. For trucks they sandwich the bead with a bolt-on ring. Not sure if that is an option for cars? I would think so. Now we can let the people who know what the heck they are talking about chime in
koolrayz
If you are talking about drag radials on a car then using permatex HI-TACK on the rim and tire works great. If it is on a slick you can screw them (makes tires tend to leak air) Or a beadlock for any aplication is always the top end. I have went deep into the 7's glueing the drag radials.
