AshleyMadison hacked

In most states, infidelity is actually a crime.

In 21 states, adultery is a crime (some sources I checked said 23, but it's the internet).

In related news, in 50 states, 21 is less than half of 50, which makes is decidedly less than "most".

Social media has made cheating easier than you could possibly imagine. Facebook an old friend from high school and before you know it, you're meeting up for lunch, etc etc.

tinder, match.com, etc. plenty of the men and women on these sites are married.

Don't know if my ex was ever on Ashley Madison. Wisconsin is a no-fault state. Anyone can cheat for any reason and it has little impact on MUCH of the outcome of a divorce. It does, however, cloud ones thinking heavily during a divorce. I have zero respect for people who put their selfish needs before their family, when children are involved. Period.

I have 50/50. Considering my career, that's epic. And I spend all that time with my kids, we do some pretty awesome activities/experiences. I pay no alimony :fuckyeah: But have to pay quite a bit of child support. Most would be appalled by the level of support I have to give her, but honestly, I'm better off financially with her gone. It's hilarious. I kept the house and have all my toys, and a hot ass gf.

It's a "crime" in almost all states but 21 have punishments for it. The ones that don't have punishments still have it as grounds for divorce depending how the law is written. E.g. Interference of marriage is a law against the outside party with sometimes criminal but mostly civil penalties. The states that don't at all usually have their marriage laws written differently due to quirks in the state law.

My sources (actually, that's just the first 5 results of a google search for "in how many states is adultery illegal?"). Care to show me yours? Also, I think it's important (since you are into legal stuff) that we define exactly what we are speaking of here, so here's this.

Do you have access to westlaw?

It's kind of a moot point here, because even in states with a purely civil regime injunctive relief is still possible.

Other than arguing with me about what's states adultery is criminally punishable I'm not sure what your point is.

Just laughing at your "math-ing" skills. I kinda get a kick out of clowning folk. It's my "thing". Sort of like thinking you are right about everything is your "thing". You'll often see me bumping around threads, making fun of the silly things some folks say. Come visit the ChatBox sometime, and you'll see it even more.

I'm the guy in the right. Just kidding

I like women that are in shape. The ex was a wannabe triathlete. The girlfriend is a professional triathlete
