I have for rent a 3 bed 2 bath house in Thornville, Oh. It is on a canal on Buckeye Lake on the southeast side of the lake. Once the water is back up it will include use of a boat slip. It is on a nice sized lot with mature trees. There is a large detached garage which would be perfect for projects. There is new flooring throughout. Washer and Dryer included. $1000/month and includes sewer but all other utilities are the renters expense. No Pets. Forward on if you know anyone interested. They can email me with questions if they aren't on this board... harmonda67@yahoo.com

Will the rent go up once the lakes back to normal use or is it the same at that point?

the rent won't go up due to lake coming back. I'm in this for the long haul. We plan to eventually build a new house on this lot for our retirement...won't be for like 15 or so years. In the meantime I'm just looking to cover my costs if possible. at $1000 I'm maybe losing a little. the big hit is the flood insurance they make you carry in that area. ironic huh? since the lake is down to a puddle. Taxes and insurance are almost as much as my mortgage for this property. otherwise I'd be asking less.
